At Pyramid Festival, we believe that festivals are more than music and gatherings – they are bridges between people, places, and cultures. This year, we took a step beyond the festival grounds to give something lasting back to the community that has welcomed us with open arms.
Our Art Director, Aleksandra Petković – TKV, created and gifted a stunning mural to the municipality of Boljevac, in collaboration with the Boljevac Culture Center. Known for her visionary work that blends tradition, symbolism, and contemporary style, TKV transformed a public space into a canvas of beauty and meaning. The mural now stands as a vibrant landmark, a reminder that art belongs to everyone and that creativity has the power to unite.
This gift is more than an artwork – it is a gesture of gratitude. By offering it to the town of Boljevac, Pyramid Festival expresses heartfelt thanks to the local community, families, and institutions that embraced us and allowed our vision to grow at the foot of Rtanj Mountain.
And this is just the beginning. The mural marks the first of many initiatives through which Pyramid Festival will contribute to the cultural and social life of the wider community. In the years to come, we plan to expand these efforts – supporting local artists, strengthening cultural exchange, and creating shared projects that will leave a positive mark far beyond the festival itself.
Because at its heart, Pyramid Festival is not only about gathering once a year – it is about nurturing a living relationship between the land, its people, and the creative spirit.
