Pyramid Village Closing Gathering – Honoring the Circle of 2025

As the year’s end approached, Pyramid Village lit up one final time in 2025. Our Closing Gathering was way more than just a private party – it was a ritual of gratitude, a circle of music, fire, and community offered in honor of the season that had passed.

We chose this weekend with intention: it coincided with the December Equinox and a partial solar eclipse. These celestial events marked a powerful threshold – a moment of balance between light and dark, and a reminder of the cycles that shape us just as they shape the land. To gather at such a time meant to align ourselves with nature’s rhythm, to honor both endings and new beginnings.

On Friday, friends, families, partners, and volunteers slowly arrived at the village, setting up camp beneath the presence of Rtanj Mountain. The evening unfolded around the fire – laughter blending with the crackle of flames, music floating into the night, and conversations flowing as stars emerged above us.

Saturday began with warmth and movement: a fire workshop that carried both playfulness and reverence, reminding us of fire’s power as a gathering force. As night fell, we opened the circle fully with a closing party guided by an extraordinary lineup – FERNANDA PISTELLI B2B MAYA, ECLIP, DINKE, PURA, ANCIENT ALLIANCE, and STOLE. Each set felt like a gift, weaving soundscapes that carried us from deep reflection into ecstatic release.

Yet the gathering was never only about music. Together, we offered thanks – to the land that holds us, the spirits that guide us, the ancestors whose wisdom still breathes through our traditions, and the living community of families, friends, partners, and volunteers who supported Pyramid Village throughout the year.

The Closing Gathering wasn’t about endings, but about completing a cycle. It was our way of honoring everything that had unfolded in 2025, and of planting seeds for what is yet to come. As the eclipse shadow passed, the equinox balanced day and night, and the last embers glowed at dawn, we felt deeply that Pyramid Village is alive not only in land and stone, but in the people and spirit that continue to return.

Until next season – thank you.
